Training

Born in Zimbabwe, Kim performed in many musicals and plays at the Repertory Theatre in Harare, before moving to London to continue her theatrical studies.

While in London, she attended many workshops and classes in acting for theatre, screen and specialist operatic training which led to a successful international career as a classical singer.

In September 2013, Lee Boardman and Jennifer James launched Actor Tribe in Knutsford. Kim is proud to have been a member from the beginning. She got to work with tutors such as Sally Carman, Suranne Jones, Sally Lindsay, Graeme Hawley, Peter Kay, Chris Robert, Adam Zane, writer Anne Marie O’Connor, directors Lesley Manning and Paul Norton Walker. She also studied with Karen Henthorn at the Manchester Actors Platform (MAP).

​In the summer of 2017, Kim was accepted onto a Shakespeare Summer Intensive at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). Whilst there she studied predominantly under the direction of Hannah Eiddenow.

​In 2018 Kim joined the Two-Year Diploma Course at Simon Trinder’s Independent Centre for Actor Training (ICAT) in London. The course was led by outstanding practitioners who work with some of the finest actors, directors and companies in the world. Subjects covered went from Physical Theatre and Clowning, Improvisation, Contemporary Theatre, Naturalism, Acting for Camera and Shakespeare.

Since leaving ICAT, Kim been focused exclusively on working in Shakespeare and Classical Theatre.
